Redo an image, and when the AI declines
Make a style image again with your own instructions, and what to do when the image service declines a product.
On this page
Before you start
- Anyone on your store's team can do this.
- Plans: All plans. Credits: A redo of an AI image uses one more AI image. A declined image costs nothing.
Redo with instructions
- Press ↻ Redo on an image.
- In What should change?, write what you’d like, such as “figure a little bigger and lower, a bit brighter, no logo”, or for an avatar “hold the box a little lower, smile more”.
- ✦ Polish with AI tidies your words. Press Redo image.
On your own scenes the product itself never changes: its size, position, light, shadow and the logo can. Avatar and model images are made again by AI, so check the product looks exactly right.
When the AI declines
Sometimes the image service won’t make an image, usually because the product shows a character, brand or artwork it isn’t allowed to draw (copyright or trademark), or the request goes against its rules. Launch Desk tells you why, suggests what to try, and offers one retry. It never tries to get around the refusal.
- Use one of your scenes instead: your real product photo is placed on it, and nothing is redrawn.
- If it looks like a mistake, Try again once.
- After a second decline, that product isn’t tried again.
A declined image isn’t counted against your plan.
