When the AI declines an image or video
Why the image or video service sometimes won't make something, what it costs (nothing), and what to try instead.

Before you start
- Anyone on your store's team can do this.
- Plans: All plans. Credits: A declined image or video isn't counted.
AI image and video services have their own rules. They usually decline when:
- the product shows a character, brand or artwork they aren’t allowed to draw or animate (copyright or trademark), or
- the script, picture or request goes against their content rules.
Launch Desk shows you why, with suggestions and one Retry. It never tries to get around a refusal: if a service says no, that product isn’t forced through.
What you can do
- Style images: choose one of your scenes. Your real product photo is placed on it, so nothing is redrawn and nothing is declined.
- Videos: simplify the script’s wording and generate again, upload your own video, or skip the video and post the style image.
- If it looks like a mistake, try once more. After a second decline, that product isn’t tried again.
Nothing is charged for a declined image or video.
If something goes wrong
The video service declined this video.
Rewrite the script in Video scripts with simpler wording and generate again, upload your own video, or skip the video for this image.
The image service declined a style image
Use one of your scenes instead (your real photo is placed on it and nothing is redrawn), or Try again once.
