Showing products at their real size

How Launch Desk keeps a product its true size when your avatar holds it or a video shows it.

Before you start

  • Anyone on your store's team can do this.
  • Plans: All plans. Credits: None.

When a product’s size is in its specs, like “1.25 inch (3.17 cm)”, Launch Desk tells the image and video services exactly how big it is, so it isn’t drawn bigger than it is.

  • Small items (under about 7 cm, not boxed) are held up between the thumb and fingers of one hand, near the face, where their size reads against the fingers. A 3 cm item is about as wide as two fingers.
  • Larger items are held in both hands in front of the chest, or set down.
  • Videos use the same size in every scene, and the voiceover can mention it.

If a product has no size in its specs, add one on Review (a “Size” spec) before making its images.
