Post captions

Captions for your social posts are written with your style images, in your own caption style. Check and edit each one before it's posted.

Before you start

  • Anyone on your store's team can do this.
  • Plans: All plans. Credits: None.

Steps

  1. On Style images, once the images are made, the Post captions are written below them: one per product, plus All products (one carousel post) when the batch has more than one product.
  2. Read each one. Edit it in the box: a counter shows its characters and hashtags (red when there are too many).
  3. Copy caption copies it, for posting by hand.

Your caption style

Captions follow Settings › Social posts: a Sample caption template (words in {braces} are filled with each product’s details; [square brackets] describe a part the AI writes), your Caption rules, status lines (like 📦 IN STOCK NOW, or 📦 COMING SOON for pre-orders) and the hashtags on every post. The tone comes from Writing style.

Later, on Publish, Edit caption brings you back here. TikTok and YouTube have their own caption and title fields there.

Tips and limits

TipYour edits are saved when you leave the box. ✦ Polish with AI tidies them while keeping your changes; Rewrite starts again from scratch.
LimitInstagram allows 2,200 characters per caption. Hashtags: up to 5 per post (Settings › Social posts).

If something goes wrong

Write the captions first: the next steps use them.

Press Write the missing captions under the style images, and wait until each one is written.
