Connect YouTube
Post your product videos as YouTube Shorts, each with a title and description written for YouTube. Available on plans with AI videos once YouTube's review is done.

Before you start
- You need to be the store's owner in Launch Desk (staff can't do this).
- A plan with AI videos (Growth or Pro); other plans don't show YouTube Shorts
- A YouTube channel on your Google account
- Plans: Growth and Pro. Credits: None. Connecting and posting don't use credits.
Steps
YouTube is reviewing Launch Desk. Until it has, the YouTube Shorts card says Coming soon! with Connect YouTube · coming soon. This article covers what happens once it opens.
- On Connections, find the YouTube Shorts card and press Connect YouTube.
- Google’s sign-in opens. Choose the Google account with your channel, keep both permissions ticked (uploading videos, and reading your channel’s name and picture), and continue.
- Back in Launch Desk, a message says YouTube connected. The card shows your channel, with Change channel and Disconnect.
Your product videos can now go to YouTube as Shorts from Publish, each with a title and description written for YouTube.
Disconnect
Press Disconnect, then Yes, disconnect. Launch Desk stops posting to the channel, and anything scheduled for YouTube won’t go out. Shorts already on YouTube stay there.
Tips and limits
If something goes wrong
This Google account has no YouTube channel. Create one on youtube.com, then connect again.
Create a channel on youtube.com with the same Google account, then press Connect YouTube again.
YouTube uploading wasn't allowed. Connect again and keep both permissions ticked.
Press Connect again and leave both permissions ticked on Google's screen.
The Google sign-in expired or YouTube's access ended. Connect again.
Press Connect again and sign in with the channel's Google account.
