AI-made content, and your responsibilities
What's made with AI, how it's labeled, and what to check before you publish.
On this page
Before you start
- Anyone on your store's team can do this.
- Plans: All plans. Credits: None.
Launch Desk uses AI to write listings, captions and scripts, and to make backgrounds, avatars, models, voices and videos. The full terms are in our Terms of Service.
Check before you publish
AI can get things wrong. Launch Desk changes your store only when you ask, and you review everything first: titles, descriptions, captions, images and especially videos (the product check helps, but watch each one).
Rights
- You keep the rights to your content.
- You confirm you may use the supplier photos, logos and characters you work with. Product links are only accepted from suppliers you’ve confirmed you’re authorized to sell for.
- For an avatar made from a photo, you confirm it’s you, or you have the person’s permission, and that they’re an adult. The photo is deleted once the avatar is made.
- AI-made content may not be protected by copyright in every country.
Labels
AI-made videos and images with AI people or backgrounds are labeled AI-generated on your store, and as AI content on TikTok and YouTube. Where the law asks you to label AI content, such as avatar posts, please do so in your own posts too.
Refusals
When an AI service declines a product, Launch Desk tells you and stops. It never tries to get around a refusal.
